LITTLE NERO is the result of an individual itch to have a personal sauna in winter and a place in the sun in summer. With only a tiny balcony available we could not have both unless the sauna was not permanent. The conundrum could not be solved until a good old friend returning to Berlin stumbled across the proposition over a shared feast of Raclette on cold winter day in January 2019. With prior experience in slot furniture design the good man took the bait.

After initial R&D and an exhaustingly extensive dose of trial and error the ultimate solution appeared.
Strikingly simple. Both in design as well as most importantly usability. Even kids can put it up with ease.

Once we got the mobility sorted LITTLE NERO’s durability and sustainability became the main focus. The torsion box structure of the walls combines dimensional strength and longevity. For the construction we use local or FSC certified wood, weather resistant plywood, and Hemp insulation. All materials are recyclable and no toxic waste is created.

LITTLE NERO is being manufactured in Sweden and Germany.
